Hi, I was discharged from a trust deed in 2008, and have recently checked my credit files and have noticed that the trust deed has now been deleted, however, the dates of all debts have been marked as settled on 2005 (date trust deed started), except one loan, which is the largest debt, which has been marked as settled on 2008.

Is this correct? Does this mean I have to wait til 2014 until this debt has been deleted from my credit files. I want to apply for a mortgage soon,will this bad debt, even though marked as settled, affect my chances of approval of a mortgage. Can I dispute the settled date?
