Tan and holidays?!! i need help anyone?

well i am going on holiday for 3 weeks in august and i am going to spain, and i really want a nice even tan from the sun.
my skin is quite pale and i do burn easily quite often on my head and it does take a while to tan.
i have green eyes and light brown hair btw

i have been looking into garnier ambre solaire tanning oil but the highest factor is 30 but i know that my mam will not let me go the whole holiday just with factor 30 on as she likes me to have factor 50 but i always feel like i hardly even tan with factor 50 even tho i do go in the pool and i sunbathe.
