Should I feel bad for missing school after surgery?

I had back surgery last week and I've been in a lot of pain. The teachers seem to all understand but this week I've been in TONS of pain, and I overdosed on pain meds at school by mistake so I was acting crazy and couldn't concentrate. Well this week I've missed school and came in late and left early because of this. I always make up my work though but I have a lot of tests to make up. Plus tomorrow I have to go to a family funeral so I won't be in school. Should I feel guilty? I do but every one says I shouldn't. I'm just embarrassed.

No there is nothing to feel guilty. Stay at home and study. After you are thoroughly you can go to school.
