What's the difference between LG Renoir and the Iphone ???

nyone of us who wants to have cool app's on your phone but there are nothing like the app's for the Iphone,but the renoir has touchscreen and accelerometer too,so why isn't there anyone creating some cool app just like the iphone's one.
Ok guy's,after a lot of searching I found something that might help you to create your own app or even game.
First make sure that you have java installed on your pc

Q:Ok,I just installed all setups and run the program,what now?
A:First you have to know java programming language , so i suggest that you should find a good java ebook.
And second you need an good idea .

About the example,when I load the example and try to run it I'm getting some error and it won't run,so to fix this you have to open the example and copy all the text/commands and start a new project,paste it there,save it under some name,whatever you want,then go where you saved the project and you'll find a folder by that name,inside you should find a folder called midlet,minimize the window and go and find the example's folder and find it's Data folder,go back to your projects folder where the midlet was and paste it here,then go and run your program and it should work fine.

thanks Jim for this post because it will answer many peoples question, the main problem is the os (operatiing system), the lg renoir has lg's own os infact pretty musch all the lg phones have a operating system made by lg which no one really knows about. the iphone however is such a popular device it is aimed to provide entertainment, and has alot of support for developers which gives them the freedom to make plenty of games and apps, and as big companies are making lots of stuff for the iphone it can easily go around the internet for free, also because of the number of iphones sold many people are developing for the iphone, and since they are two different system the iphone games will not work on the lg and renior will not work on the iphone.

the problem with the renoir is that because of the os lg have made it makes it really hard to develop decent software that utilise the phones to the max, and since the renoir isnt TOOOOO popular yet there isnt a lot of developers that can make the accelorometer work fine and have perfectly working themes, but as the renoit gets more popular and affordable more people will work for it, and we can expect more to come, this was the same with the viewty, when i first got it there was nothing available for it on the internet but now there are many themes games and apps on the net.

so renoir users will unfortunatley have to wait.

i will try some java game development, but my main aim is to make some games that use the accelerometer, prefabaly a motobike game in which you move the phone to steer, if i gt any information on the accelerometer devleopment i will inform on this forum.
